Curious about my Donation Ceramics project and what you can help raise funds for?

I began making small flat ceramics, mostly brooches and magnets, to help raise pay-what-you-can donations ($10-$25+) for a variety of important initiatives, organizations, and funds in May of 2024. It was set in motion from a personal need I had to redirect my feelings of urgency, anger, frustration, and ‘helplessness’ in response to so many dire issues humanity is facing: food insecurity, homelessness, illness, transphobia, state violence, ethnic cleansing, genocide... !

Aside from making my politics known from the multiple visible signage displayed at the door of my shop, this is but a small action that I am currently able to do to help raise awareness and donations. At the end of every month, donations are calculated and made to the following organizations and people, all thanks to my dear customers for their continued participation! Special thank you to my kind neighbour Moody Jooly for their care in firing my ceramics.

Due to this being a donation project, the ceramic gifts are only available to be picked up at Toutoune Gallery with direct donations at 998 Bathurst St.

Great thanks also to several other customers as well as artists who have supplied the store with artwork, prints, buttons and stickers to help with the raising of funds for these initiatives.
