Buby Collection is a large body of work spanning a few years in the making as well as traversing multiple mediums. Sculptural papier-mache works fill three walls of the installation space, with a few pieces hanging from the ceiling as well as some installed on surfaces including a small orange side table as well as a shelving unit. Among the other collections found on the shelves at the rear of the room are small paintings on wooden panels, ceramic and basswood figurines as well as an array of flat ceramic brooches, pendants and magnets.

Hanging Hoop Tree (double sided) (2024)
Recycled cardboard, hot glue, papier mache, acrylic + gouache, fishing line, found hoolah hoop, plastic findings, plastic chain, matte finish.
Above are piece that hang from the ceiling, as well as a large piece that hangs on the west facing wall in which you can see partial neon yellow ribbons from the ceiling installation.
Hanging Hoop Tree (double sided) hangs at the end of a white plastic chain that reaches up to the ceiling. This large piece hangs at eye level, in front of a mirrored closet door, which allows both sides to be visible to visitors. Near the ceiling sits a small charm in the shape of a tree titled (tippy top tiny tree charm). Entertwined within the white plastic chain are neon yellow ribbons that lead to another piece hanging closer to the ceiling titled (flying bug).
